In order to be able to help more in need, we have improvised our weight loss program so that we can help more patients who are currently struggling with losing weight.
Anti-obesity medications are only used by 3% of eligible adults in the US. The main reason for this is cost and insurance coverage. These medications are very EXPENSIVE! However, by partnering with a national compounding pharmacy that takes rigorous safety precautions and independent 3rd party testing, we have made it possible to have these medications available to you and shipped directly to you at a much more affordable price, ie up to 50% less, than their brand counterparts.
You will get a 30-minute video call appointment with our obesity board certified physician every 3 months. We will decide together what may work best for you. Our goal is to help you lose weight by coming up with a plan that incorporates healthy nutrition, regular exercise, and, if applicable, weight-loss medications. During the appointment, our physician will discuss the weight loss medications that may be right for you. If either tirzepatide or semaglutide is right for you, then we will have these medications delivered to you directly from the compounding pharmacy whom we have partnered with. During the program you will also have email and text support from our team.
Our monthly subscription for this weight loss program is $64/month. This does not include the cost of the medication, which varies depending on the medication and the dose. The cost for a month of compounded semaglutide varies from $250-$400 depending on the dosage (compared to $1000 brand name Ozempic or Wegovy) and month of tirzepatide varies from $220 – $590 depending on the dosage (vs more than $1200 brand name Mounjaro or ZepBound).
Semaglutide is a selective glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It works by:
Tirzepatide is a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. So it not only works in the same ways semaglutide does but in addition has the added benefit of working on the GIP receptor, which can further improve lipid metabolism and decrease fat deposition.
It is the same active ingredient compounded in a specialty compounding pharmacy who makes patient-specific medications. There are a few differences. The compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide will come in a vial as opposed to a pen. This means the patient will draw the specific amount of the medication from the vial with a syringe and inject it to themselves using an insulin needle. Because the compounding pharmacy makes the medications specifically for you, they mix it with L-carnitine, which helps our body become more efficient in burning fat but mobilizing fatty acids into the powerhouses in our cells (mitochondria) and serving as a co-factor in their metabolism.
Studies have shown that weekly semaglutide 2.4mg in conjunction with exercise and reduced calorie diet led to an average weight loss of 10-17% of their initial body weight after 68 weeks.
Of course, there is no guarantee that these medications will work for everyone. Yet they are very effective. We see anywhere from 8-20 lb weight loss in our patients in the first few months.

Your subscription will start when we confirm your enrollment and send you an invite to schedule your first appointment. If at the end of your video conference with the physician, either semaglutide or tirzepatide is determined to be a good option for you, the physician will send the prescription to the pharmacy. You will pay for the medicine upfront. Please expect to receive the medication for the first month from the pharmacy within 1-2 weeks. There is a $25 shipping fee added by the pharmacy to cover the shipping and handling of the refrigerated medications.
* Our patients always have access to our physician via multiple modalities at all times. Prospective patients without appointments are recommended to call our office prior to stopping by as the doctor’s availability may vary.
