Imagine having a Doctor that when you show up for your appointment he is waiting at the door for you. He walks you into the exam room and spends 2-hours with you. Add to that the fact that Dr Efe Sahinoglu is a gifted caring doctor and as far as I am concerned there is not a better option in Birmingham for a personal/family practitioner. I honestly could go on and on with this concierge Doctor business model because it just makes sense. UPDATE: After being with Dr Efe a little lover 3-months I’ve gone from Diabetic to Pre-diabetic (heading to diabetes free) Lost nearly 25 pounds, tightened my belt by 5 holes (Only one left). Blood work across the board is better and I no longer dread going to the Doctor. Not to mention the fact that it doesn’t cost me an entire day and I actually get to spend more time with my Doctor than I have in my entire life. Things are changing!!! Thank you Dr. Efe.

Dr. Efe is hands down the most kind, caring, compassionate, and skilled physician. My husband and I are thankful to be members of Birmingham DPC and are blessed to have Dr. Efe as our primary care physician. Dr. Efe Sahinoglu has been a great help to me over the last few months. I had a cardiac issue and wound up going to him first before his referring me to a cardiologist, and he really helped me understand what was going on. And being able to contact him by email or text has been wonderful in the weeks following a procedure to correct the cardiac issue. I highly recommend him – a compassionate AND skilled doctor.

I have been a member of Birmingham Direct Primary care for several months and I have been more than happy with their services. As a realtor, fairly priced health insurance is hard to come by. You pay month to month for a price of 79$. You cannot beat it. I have found this concierge style of health care to be a great option for me. Dr. Efe is always a text or call away and gets back with to me quickly. The staff, facility, and level of healthcare are quality and has an individual approach to it. I feel doc knows me personally. This is a practical way to see a doctor, which is really appealing to me as a self employed guy. I highly recommend Dr. Efe and his practice, as they have much to offer! I HIGHLY recommend BDPC. Dr. Sahinoglu is extremely committed to the care and health of his patients and is great with kids! My daughter has never had a better experience with a doctor and asked to go back after we left 😂. I could not have asked for anything better in a physician. He really seems to care and is always available and I truly feel like my family and I are in great hands.

Best doctor visit ever the doctor is very professional and the nurse was awesome !!!!

Dr. Efe is the best. Courteous, capable, responsive. This was our first experience with Direct Primary Care (DPC) and I couldn’t be more pleased. Unfettered access, transparent pricing, same or next day appointments, excellent coordination of care, more face time with the doctor – everything I hoped it would be. Birmingham people – do yourselves a favor – look in to Birmingham Direct Primary Care and Dr. Efe Sahinoglu. He keeps every promise, and I don’t feel like just a name on a chart.

Had to be seen AGAIN this morning bc my ear infection and sinus infections still havent cleared up. This was my first time seeing Dr. Sahinoglu (aka Dr. Efe) but it was a great experience! If you dont have any health insurance google direct primary care in your area. Its a monthly membership fee and no copays or extra money for office visits. You get unlimited visits and they have an inhouse pharmacy so the prescriptions are just a few dollars. They do wellness visits, sick visits, pap smears and all sorts of things. Plus if you have to have things done with an outside entity like blood draw labs its cheap. For example im going next week to get my sugar levels and thyroid tested and some other stuff and its less than $15. And my prescriptions he gave me today (Z pack, a nasal spray, and some steroid pills) were all just $9!!!! I spent $65 on meds last week that the urgent care gave me plus $175 to be seen. I could have saved $170!!!! The Direct Primary Care (DPC) concept is awesome and is designed to keep costs down for the patients and allows doctors to spend as much time with patients as they want to and not be dictated to about how they will treat patients.

Don’t know where to start. I didn’t actually see Dr. Efe, but my mom’s friend was visiting and developed a weird swelling around her lips. I said she should go to the ER. No problem, she said she could text her doctor. TEXT him. Which she proceded to do. In about 20 minutes he texted back. Then they talked on the phone. THEN did a FaceTime so he could get a better look. He had her medication list in front of him and said he thought it was a reaction to her blood pressure medicines, and told her right there what to do over video chat. Her friend then introduced all of us to Dr. Efe, who was really cool about it. I think she saved a few hundred dollars in an ER visit right there. I said I wished I had a doctor that did that, and he texted my mom’s friend a link to show similar practices in my area! for me!! The monthly fee for Dr. Efe isn’t much more than it would cost me to see my own doctor WITH my insurance. I’ve already made an appointment to see another “DPC” doctor near me! Anyway I can’t say enough about Dr. Efe, and my mom is even signing up with him

Great visit with Dr. Efe. I feel like he’s going to be a fantastic provider based of his attention to what I had to say, detailed questions and length of visit. I definitely didn’t feel like I was rushed like I do at every other doctor’s office.

All in one. I get treated like a patient not as a check. He takes his time to listen and doesn’t rush. I can also get my medication before I leave the office. I would recommend BDPC Dr. Efe to anyone. Low monthly payments, ability to contact the Dr via text, email or phone is fantastic.

What a great experience! Completely different from a traditional doctor visit where you wait forever to get sent to an exam room, wait some more before seeing the doctor, and then spend less than 5 minutes with him / her! At Birmingham Direct Primary Care, it’s the polar opposite. No waiting…you’re back in the exam room and seen by Dr. Sahingolu immediately! That’s followed by a thorough exam by Dr. Sahingolu who asks questions and truly listens! And then you can get your prescriptions filled right there in his office at a fraction of the cost of going to the pharmacy saving you both time and money! What’s not to like!

Amazing Doctor and better human being! My son and I were traveling for baseball, and he rearranged his schedule to help us with his ear. So gracious with his time and personal approach. I applaud Doc for being a pioneer in Direct Primary Care and reminding us how comforting it is to have a personal doctor truly caring for your health.

Dr. Efe Sahinoglu is the best! What a fantastic practice. Dr. Sahinoglu answers all of your questions without rushing, helps you to understand the process of figuring out what is wrong, and is just a super caring person. I wish I had found his practice years ago! Now I tell all my friends about him. How often do you find yourself bragging about your doctor? Yeah, he’s really that good.
